The Institute for the Study of Kosher Wine at Touro Italy is pleased to offer students a rare opportunity to reap the rewards of a career in viticulture and enology by studying the fine art of Kosher Winemaking in the exotic, romantic and historic setting of Rome beginning in September 2007.
Join us at the wine harvest in the lush vineyards of Italy
Our students tour and participate in the harvest at the vineyards and visit the ruins of Rome as well as sharing their experiences with other international students who share their common interests. The Institute is sure to be an educational and fun-filled experience for all!
Pursue your education in what is becoming Europe largest concentration of Jewish students. You’ll be just half hour from Rome, surrounded by vineyards as far as the eye can see. An exclusive hideaway for Europe’s rich and famous.
The town of Zagarolo was established 2000 years ago. It has kept all its charm in the winding cobblestone streets where the recordings of Pavarotti serenade customers in the numerous little coffee shops.
Rent a scooter, a bicycle, a horse and buggy or motorized chariot (exclusive in Zagarolo). And at the same time you can learn a new language and a skill. Stress does not exist in the orchards or the peaceful orchards. Visit Zagarolo, its art galleries and antique shops.
And there are bookshops, Zagarolo’s version of Barnes&Nobles, as well as a unique library containing numerous books retrieved from the Nazis. Become acquainted with its unique glass shops.
